What we use
Taap.wtf uses a small number of essential cookies and browser storage entries. We do not run advertising cookies.

Essential: staying signed in
When an owner or staff member signs in, a secure session entry is stored in the browser so you are not asked to log in on every screen. Removing it signs you out.

Essential: guest cart and table
When a guest scans a table code, the table and the items added to the cart are kept in that browser's local storage so nothing is lost if the phone locks or the page reloads.
This entry contains no name, email or payment detail and is cleared when the guest clears their browser data.

Operational data
We record basic technical events to detect errors and abuse. These are used to keep the service working, not to profile individuals.

Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential entries will prevent signing in and will stop a guest cart from being remembered.
